The wine will be launched this week in the more important Cities of The world, such as Buenos Aires, São Paulo, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, London, and Hong Kong.

This wine, sourced from a unique plot of 0.73 ha (1.80 acres) located northwest of the estate in Paraje Altamira, emerged as a result of a long quest for the purest, sheerest expression of Finca Piedra Infinita’s identity.

In his 2020-2021 report on Argentina for Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate publication, Luis Gutiérrez describes Finca Infinita Gravascal 2018 as “having notes reminiscent of some wines from the Northern Rhone, whose combination of orange peel, blood, and iron translates into freshness and minerality, laced with a chalky feel and a finish that offers both juiciness and texture. The Zuccardis have succeeded in fine-tuning these parcel wines, which they started growing experimentally in the harvest of 2015. Now, the 2018 harvest has come and it can only be exalted. Fine, elegant—simply sublime.”


For Sebastián Zuccardi, Winemaker at the winery, “as I make this wine, I like to think it comes just from the right place. Those of us who work daily on this vineyard know some of its sites are very special and offer truly unique characteristics.” Regarding the 2018 season, Sebastián recalls it was “cool and dry, which ensured exceptional plant health and yielded wines brimming with finesse and elegance. These climate conditions proved extraordinary for some parcels in Piedra Infinita Estate.”

Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate (TWA) scoring system uses a quality-based scale ranging from 50 to 100 points, which are awarded on the basis of the quality and style reflected by the region the wines were sourced from. A 100-point score denotes an extraordinary wine. Issued for the first time in 1978, the score known worldwide as Parker Points holds considerable sway on consumers, especially in America. Luis Gutiérrez is a full-time reviewer at TWA, and is responsible for tasting and scoring wines from Argentina, Chile, and Spain.
